ETIQUETTE
We have been hosting the Diamond Rush since 2014, and it is not only our most successful event, but it is also our most favourite. Every year we work with our charity partners to make the event enjoyable, accessible and fun for all involved.
Please read the below guidelines and good luck to all you diamond hunters!
Diamond Locations
Our expert diamond hiders are very respectful of our environment and the locations we partner with.
We do everything possible to avoid the possibility of damages.
Diamonds will always be hidden in non-destructive locations.
- Please respect nature and the property of others.
- Diamonds are not hidden in high or difficult to reach places, please do not climb or scale anything to hunt for a hiding place.
- Please cause no damage to plants, flowerbeds, trees etc.
- Diamonds will never be buried underground.
- Diamonds hidden within businesses may be found behind, under or inside items, but please respect each business and place back anything that you move in a tidy manner.
Fellow Diamond Hunters
The Diamond Rush is ultimately a charity event with our priority being benefit to our charity partners. As such, please respect your fellow diamond hunters.
- Should you not manage to find a prize, do not fret, your contribution is highly valued by our charities and we are grateful for your participation.
- The Diamond Rush will return again and there will always be another chance.
- We are grateful to our partners and businesses that have agreed to work with us, please do not disturb patrons of businesses when searching a location.
- In previous years, we have experienced very busy mornings on the day of the event. Please queue in an orderly and kind manner when collecting your map.
